By walking up the stairs of Via Della Pace you will run into a group of talkative and sociable staff. Most of us have roman roots... Pietro, one of the senior owners, is likely to be sitting on the outside tables, and if you are friendly enough he might end up offering you some quite special glasses of wine. Giovanni will definitely entertain you at the bar with his jokes and his "acrobatic" drink mixing behind the couter. Cesare, known for having opened more than 40 restaurants only in the New York area makes rare appearances, but you will definitely be able to tell his presence when he is at Via Della Pace!
